Calling all players with a big heart who love playing golf, and supporting the community in charity endeavors.

This tournament will be hosted by golf pro Tim Hurja who has coached, personalities such as Tony Robbins. Tim also works for Tony Robbins, so you can expect an upbeat /positive golf experience!

We will start the day with Tim giving us pointers, on how to improve our score during the tournament, so we are all in for a treat.

To those golfers who have not experienced the splendor of Timberstone, you do not want to miss this event.

TimberStone Golf Course is an extraordinary natural treasure and a one-of-a-kind resource for residents and businesses in the Treasure Valley.

An outstanding public 18-holechampionship golf course surrounded by scenic views – simply spectacular!

The charities we will be playing for are Gold Buckle Champions and Toys for Tots.

Below is a description of the charities with monies to be shared equally that are raised.

The Charity Golf Tournament will be using a shamble format for this tournament.

A shamble is a type of golf tournament that combines elements of a scramble with elements of regular stroke play.

Like in a scramble, all members of a team of four tee off and the best ball of the four tee shots is selected. All players move their balls to the spot of the best ball. From this point, the hole is played out at stroke play, with all members of the team playing their own ball into the hole.

So you have a mix of features from the scramble and from stroke play. It’s nice to have four shots from the tee and be able to pick the best.

From there, though, the pressure’s on because you pick the best score amongst the four.

In order to allow all types of golfers we will take handicaps and for those that are not established we will take your last six games, bring your best and worst and we will figure your handicap.
